Nishay Nasser, MSc Business Analysis and Consulting student at Strathclyde Business School

Strathclyde Business School

Strathclyde Business School’s culture of practical learning and the MSc Business Analysis & Consulting programme’s invigorating blend of analytical tools and techniques and solution-focused consulting skills have made the course everything I had hoped for and much more.

The best feature of this programme has been the opportunity to work with a diverse student population that offers a stimulating variety of opinions and ideas influenced by different cultures and experiences. One of the highlights of my MSc has been the apprenticeship at the SIMUL8 Corporation as part of the Becoming an Effective Business Analyst course. It was an invaluable three weeks spent working with and observing various teams, including many Strathclyde Management Science alumni, who combine their efforts and use their skills to make drastic leaps in the field of simulations.

Initially, I was a little nervous about studying in the UK but Glasgow welcomed me with open arms and proved that Scotland’s beauty isn’t just skin-deep. It is one of the friendliest cities in the world; the people are always willing to help and go out of their way to do so. Having travelled vastly, I have seen much of this beautiful world, but barely anything could compare to the kindness and warmth of the people of Glasgow and the subtle charm of this city that gave me a home so far away from home.
